I did some research on the Coleman camper division and the model names that have been used over the years. Below is the results. As you see, I have the model names from 1975 forward but have been unable to find out what was used from 1967 to 1975. If any one has the info, a source or partial data I would appreciate hearing from you. It is interesting to note the progression of name from Revolutionary War references to mostly 'western' references. I'm a Coleman Geek, so here goes, I think this is right: 1967-70 were all CT series campers. 1967: CT-160, CT-161, CT-170, CT-171, CT-172, CT-180, CT-190 1968: Pretty sure all the models carried over. 1969: CT-360, CT-370, CT-380, CT-381, CT-382, CT-390. The 1969 CT-390 is the first Coleman my family purchased. I still remember my Dad suprising us with it. 1970: CT-460, CT-470, CT-480, CT-481, CT-482, CT-490. In 1971 the CT was dropped and just numbers were used. 1971: 570, 580, 581, 582, 590, 596. 1972: First year for names. Not sure of the line-up but I know this was the first year the name Valley Forge was used. 1973: Somerset, Valley Forge, Brandywine, Brandywine ll, Yorktown. My father traded our 1969 CT-390 on a '73 Yorktown. 1974: Models Carried over from '73. My Father traded our '73 Yorktown on a '78 Ticonderoga, The last family camper he purchased before all us kids started going our separate ways. Thanks Dad, Lot's of memories in the old Colemans. Thanks to jimbob and Tom-TC who supplied additional information I have filled in some of the blanks.
